The Hygea range of ultrasonic baths is Ultrawave's most technologically advanced ultrasonic cleaning system. Designed and developed to clean surgical instruments in the healthcare sector, the units are compliant with government guidelines set out in document HTM2030 and HTM01-05.
The Hygea range of ultrasonic cleaners can be used in a "gold standard" instrument decontamination process in conjunction with an autoclave and washer disinfector. With integral cycle validation and an electromagnetic locking lid, the Hygea range meets the relevant standards as set out in HTM2030 for surgical instrument decontamination.
As well as meeting the technical standards, the Hygea range attempts to address the ethos of HTM2030 by reducing the potential for human error and ensuring that all instruments are subjected to the same cleaning process.
